Here at Lofoten Vacation we’re looking for housekeepers to join our dedicated team and help ensure our guest’s stay is as great as it could possibly be. You’ll be working among our housekeeping team to ensure each of our houses is up to the expectations and ready for our guest’s check-in!

Housekeeping requirements

  • Working efficiently without compromising quality

  • Excellent attention to details

  • Driving licence category B or higher

  • Ability to carry/transport cleaning equipment (from car to cabin)

  • Good physical endurance

  • Flexibility

  • Decent communication skills and respect for people around you

  • A housekeeper must be responsible, hard-working, trustworthy, honest, reliable, open-minded and friendly

  • Experience working in a housekeeping role is a bonus

Housekeeping responsibilities

  • Performing detailed housekeeping

  • Maintaining a high level of cleanliness

  • Driving to the houses and transporting cleaning agents and equipments

  • Waste management (we bring the trash from the cabins)

  • Providing guests with extra towels, bed linen, kitchen towels etc

  • Notifying management of any damages in guest rooms

  • Reporting any health or safety concerns in the houses

  • VIP cabins may require some extra tasks like for instance preparing Welcome packages

We offer

  • Accommodation - shared with other employees but privat bedroom

  • Payment for rental (not set yet for 2025) includes Internet, electricity, washing machine etc.

  • Salary according to Norwegian trade unions

  • Employee well-being

  • Car during your tasks but we will be happy if you can bring your own for private usage

  • Main season employment from May till October (shorter or longer possible)
